Need to send something in to be repaired?

With E.S.S. repairs, there is no need to make any arrangements or get a "special code" to send your instrument to us.

 Just follow our simple and easy method!

1. Send us your broken instrument!

-Fill out our Speed-Up Repair form.

 (Which can be found on our

Service Department's page.)

-Carefully box up your scope or equipment.

*For flexible scopes: place the instrument in the padded case it originally came with, then tape the two halves closed with packing tape to prevent the case from opening during transit.

*For rigid scopes or other instruments that don't have a padded case, carefully wrap the instrument in bubble-wrap so that it's cushioned from any shock.

*Place the protected instrument in a well-padded shipping box (NOTE: It should have a minimum of two inches of space between your instrument and all sides of the box, then the space should be filled with packaging material for cushioning)

-Ship your instrument via FedEx or UPS to:

ESS, Inc.

ATTN: Service Dept.

2. Inspection!

When we receive your instrument we will:

-Fax you an itemized list of repairs 

-Provide you with the repair turnaround time

-Advise you on the best course of action to take with your instrument.

3. Ship it back!

After inspecting and repairing your instrument, we will send your instrument back to you via FedEx.

For Pentax fiber optic and video endoscopes, 

we have the generic non-autoclavable

 Pentax style water bottle.

This bottle plugs into the air feeding hole on Pentax light sources and video processors just like the original Pentax bottles.

If you're looking for an Olympus replacement,

 we also offer a generic replacement for the

 Olympus 140, 160, 180, and newer Endoscope Series'.

This replacement water bottle features:

-A 250 ml capacity.

-Easy to connect/disconnect from scope.

-Metal connector to bottle top and metal endoscope connector for durability.

-Attached cap to protect endoscope connector.

-Metal clip and strong plastic strap to attach the water bottle to the stock hanger on Olympus light sources.

These brushes are available in 2 different sizes for large or small biopsy channels!

The ESS DCB-1.72306 one-directional channel cleaning brush is designed to fit most endoscopes with channels from 2.4 mm to 4.2 mm and larger!

-Brush Diameter: 6.0 mm

-Brush Length: 20.0 mm

-Catheter Diameter: 1.7 mm

-For biopsy channels 2.0 mm to 4.2 mm diameter with a working length up to 220 cm. 

-Bristle diameter of 6.0 mm, will clean in channels larger than 4.2 mm and up to 4.5 mm

The Importance of Having a Clean Scope

Are your scopes getting cleaned properly?

Roughly 300 patients have been sickened by life-threatening infections linked to contaminated medical endoscopes.

According to a memo released by U.S. Rep. Ted Lieu, more than 41 hospitals worldwide (mostly in the U.S.) reported bacterial infections linked to the scopes, affecting 300 to 350 patients between 2010 and 2015.

 swallowed a foreign body - was brought in.
